Cougars Sweep Day Two, Finish Weekend 4-0

Joplin, Mo. – The Columbia College baseball team wrapped up play today in Joplin with two more games, this time against Dakota State University (SD) and Hastings College. After sweeping both games on Saturday, the Cougars powered past DSU 7-0 before beating Hastings 15-5. 

With the two wins, Columbia improves its record to 10-1, including four wins over a ranked opponent, their best start to the season since before the 2017 season. They are back in action next weekend for the Rube Foster Classic hosted by Baker University; they play Northwestern College and Baker University on Saturday before facing Doane University and University of Saint Mary on Sunday.
