Cougars Split in Midweek Contests

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The No.13-ranked Columbia College volleyball team hit the road for two midweek conference contests, taking down Harris-Stowe State (Mo.), while falling to Missouri Baptist.

The Cougars move to 21-6 on the season and 6-1 in AMC play. 

Versus Harris-Stowe:
The Cougars swept the Hornets in conference action 3-0, (25-10, 25-13, 25-13).

Columbia added 38 kills on the night, hitting 36.7 percent. The Cougars also produced five aces.

Ellie Rockers led the Cougars with nine kills, while also adding 2 blocks.

Agatha Emanuelle held things down with four blocks of her own.

Luisa Ferreira collected a game-high 20 digs, while Aubrey Kohl dished out 16 assists.

Versus Missouri Baptist:
The Spartans took the win over the Cougars 3-0, (25-20, 25-23, 25-16).

Ellie Rockers totaled 11 kills to go along with six digs. 

Allana Capella contributed nine kills with seven digs. 

Luisa Ferreira dished out 28 assists with four digs. 

Magdalena Bostal finished with a team-high 12 digs.
