Kansas City, Mo. – The No. 16 ranked Columbia College softball team picked up one win on the day and went 1-3 in the NAIA KC Softball Spring Invitational. The Cougars will face (RV) Ottawa (Kan.) for a mid-week matchup at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on February 22.
Game One – Benedictine (Kan.)

- Chesney Luebbering, Bailey Merritt, and Abigail Pringer led the Cougars with three hits apiece
- Suzzana Shanks recorded a homerun
- Bailey Merritt and Tasia Green produced three RBI
- Ella Schouten struck out ten batters in 6.0 innings pitched
Game Two – Avila (Mo.)
Avila def. CC, 11-2
- Cassidy Avery produced two hits and one RBI
- Sophia Angel recorded one hit on one RBI
- Kennedy Jensen pitched 5.0 innings, while Suzzana Shanks took the mound the rest of the way
