Cougars Qualify for USBC ITC Sectionals

COLUMBIA, Mo. – For the second time in school history, the Columbia College women’s bowling team has qualified for the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) Sectionals March 8-10.

The Cougars are currently ranked 62nd in the USBC Power Points final standings. The top 80 teams qualify for the four Sectional sites across the United States, while the Cougars will travel to Addison, Ill. and compete at Stardust Lanes.

Teams competing in the Addison Sectional include Bethel-Indiana, No.11 Calumet, Columbia, Culver-Stockton, Delaware State, Duquesne, Grand View, Huntington, No.19 Judson, Lewis, Marian-Wisconsin, McKendree, Midland, No.17 Milligan, No.1 Mount Mercy, Rock Valley, No.6 Saint Xavier, No.16 St. Francis-Illinois, Stephen F. Austin, Viterbo, Waldorf, Wisconsin-Madison, Wright State

Friday will consist of singles competition, bowling six individual games. Saturday and Sunday will be team competition, bowling 64 Baker games across the two days.
