Cougars Play Ravens Wire-to-Wire

Columbia, Mo. – The Cougars of Columbia College played host to the Ravens of Benedictine College tonight in non-conference action.

In search of their first win, the Cougars started the game quick with five first quarter goals to just one from the Ravens.

Benedictine played tougher in the second quarter as both teams managed four goals each, respectively. 

Leading at the half, 9-5, the Cougars struggled offensively in the second half as they were outscored 8-3 by the Ravens. 

Late in the fourth quarter, the Cougars had possession of the ball with just around one minute left to play. A costly turnover from Columbia would seal the game for Benedictine, 13-12.
