FULTON, Mo. – The Columbia College women’s golf team made a historic run at the William Woods Invitational, breaking the 36-hole team record with a 607, six-under. On day one, the Cougars broke the school record by 13 strokes, for the lowest team score with a 296.
In her first ever collegiate golf outing, freshman Elin Stenbeck broke the individual score record with six-under (66).
Columbia returns to action September 25-26 at the Missouri Valley Fall Invitational at Indian Foothills Golf Course.
