Cougars Finish Runner-Up at AMC Championships

NEVADA, Mo. – The Columbia College men’s cross country team competed in the AMC Men’s Cross Country Championships this morning, finishing runner-up in a field of five.

Sophomore, Will Cherrington led the way with a second place finish with a time of 26:18.83, while Dylan Carney posted an eighth-place finish with a time of 26:50.58. Both Cherrington and Carney will make their way to the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Championships in Vancouver, Washington on November 17.

The 2023 AMC Men’s Cross Country Season awards were also awarded to the following Cougars:

Champions of Character: Grayson Knernschield
Newcomer of the Year: Kalieb Redda

All-Conference honorees: Kalieb Redda, Oscar Curry, Dylan Carney, Will Cherrington
