Cougars Conclude Weekend at Rube Foster Classic

Kansas City, Mo. – The (RV) Columbia College baseball team concluded their time at the Rube Foster Classic this weekend coming short in their remaining games. The Cougars fell to (RV) Doane (Neb.), 2-1, and were defeated by the University of Saint Mary (Kan.), 4-2. Columbia moves to 12-3 on the season.
 
Game One Stat Tracker:
Doane def. CC, 2-1

  • Five Cougars produced one hit, while Brayden McGinnis provided the lone RBI for Columbia
  • Caden Nicoletto provided the only CC run

The Cougars will head to Fayette, Mo. to compete in the Central Methodist Tournament, taking on (RV) Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) and No. 12 MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) to start their first day of action. The opening game is set for March 2 at 1:00 PM.
