Cougars Advance to Fourth-Straight AMC Championship Game

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The No.12-ranked Columbia College volleyball team advances to their fourth-straight AMC Championship game after defeating Stephens (Mo.) 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-17).

The Cougars were led by Ellie Rockers and Allana Capella, producing 10 kills apiece.

Rockers captured a hitting percentage of .280, while Capella hit .231.

Agatha Emanuelle and Alayna Rooks also had themselves a night, putting down seven kills each.

Columbia’s Abby Massengill secured six kills, and led the team with four blocks.

Luisa Ferreira also dished out 38 assists, adding two service aces.

The Cougars hit 26.2 percent on the night, collecting 41 kills.

Columbia improves to 28-6 on the season, looking to capture their first tournament title since 2018.

The AMC Tournament Championship is set for November 11 at 11:00 a.m. against No.8-ranked Missouri Baptist.
