Cougar Baseball Picks Up 30th Win in Rout Over Vikings

Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College baseball team picked up its 30th win of the season tonight as they beat the Missouri Valley College Vikings for the second time this season. The win puts CC at 30-12 on the season, while the Vikings drop to 11-27. The Cougars have just two more series before post-season play begins.

  • Cayden Nicoletto and Indy Stanley both hit a double
  • Indy Stanley and Tyler Renn each had one home run
  • Indy Stanley led the team with four RBI, Cayden Nicoletto, Tyler Renn, and Devyn Lopez all followed with two
  • Sutton Hanks and David Dell each stole one base
  • Kam Dohogne picked up the win on the mound, finishing with two strikeouts
  • Travis Bassford and Drew Voss both finished with three strikeouts 

The Cougars play next on Friday, April 21st, as they travel to William Woods University for game one of their three game conference series. Games two and three are to be played on Saturday.
