Cook running vs. K-State - 2023

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri signal-caller Brady Cook was named as one of the Manning Award’s eight stars of the week Monday and is in the pool to be named Manning Award Quarterback of the Week.

Cook helped lead a come-from-behind, 30-27 win over No. 15 Kansas State at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field which saw the Tigers score 13 fourth-quarter points.

He finished 23-of-35 for a career-high 356 yards and two touchdowns, his first career 300-yard game. He also picked up his 10th career rushing score, third of 2023 and the first rushing score allowed by K-State this season.

Cook broke Chase Daniels’ program record for consecutive passes without an interception with a mark of 281 attempts, surpassing Daniels’ 254 set from Nov. 4, 2006, to Sept. 15, 2007. Cook became the ninth player in Mizzou history to eclipse 20 passing and 10 rushing touchdowns over a career, becoming the first quarterback to reach both marks since James Franklin (2010-13).
