COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Track and Field team’s Christopher Conrad advanced to the 800-meter quarterfinals Thursday during round one of the NCAA Championships in Sacramento, Calif.
Conrad ran a time of 1:48.20 to finish sixth in the event standings. He will continue his title run at 9:05 p.m. CT on Friday.
Also competing on the opening day, freshman Sam Innes wrapped up his first collegiate season with a mark of 60.88m (199-9) in the hammer throw.
Missouri will have eight athletes in action on Thursday beginning with Sydney Oberdiek and Carolina Daza in the women’s hammer throw at noon CT. The competition will be streamed on ESPN+.
