Columbia Tops Lyon in Rubber Match

Batesville, Ark. – The Columbia College baseball team secured the rubber game against Lyon College (Ark.) this afternoon, claiming a 6-4 victory over the Scots. After Lyon recorded four runs in the first inning, the Cougars provided the following six to edge past the Scots.

Columbia improves to 22-12 on the season and 6-3 in the American Midwest Conference (AMC).

The Cougars will take the field Friday, April 7 against Williams Baptist University (Ark.) for more conference action with a double header beginning at 1:00 p.m.
