Columbia Takes Part in Gorilla Classic and Titan Open

PITTSBURG, Kan. / BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Columbia College men’s track and field team had a full weekend of competition taking part in the Gorilla Classic and the Titan Open.

Columbia was dominant in their field events taking first in shot put and weight throw. Brenin Howell threw 15.69-meters taking the top spot in shot put, while Kenny Miller finished runner-up throwing 15.24-meters.

In weight throw, Gavin Frantz took home a first-place finish with a 17.43-meter throw, as Kenny Miller finished third at 15.86-meters.

Grant Erisman also placed first in long jump at 6.70-meters.
