Columbia College Athletics and Ghost Energy Sign Varsity Esports Partnership

Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College athletic department announced today a partnership with Ghost Energy. The exciting new relationship marks the first time Ghost Energy has partnered with a collegiate esports program.

To start the partnership, the Ghost Energy logo will be featured prominently within the esports program on the Cougars’ 2023-2024 jerseys, and also around the athletic department.

“We are really excited to be partnered with a great company that has already a presence within the esports world having partnered with professional organizations like Faze.” said Aaron Shockley, Columbia College Esports Director.

The Cougars varsity esports program was founded in 2016. The Cougars compete in League of Legends, Rocket League, Valorant, Rainbow 6 Siege, and Madden where varsity players earn scholarships to compete against colleges and universities across North America.
