St. Louis, Mo. – The Columbia College Cougars have won the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Presidents’ Cup for the fourth straight year.
First-place in the final regular-season standings receive five times the number of teams sponsoring the sport. For example, if ten teams sponsor, then the regular-season champion receives 50 points, second-place is 45, etc.
In the sports of cross country, wrestling, golf and track & field, points are awarded in the order of finish at the AMC Championship.
The Cougars received first-place points in seven sports – men’s cross country, women’s cross country, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, softball, baseball and men’s outdoor track & field.
Columbia now has the third-most Presidents’ Cup titles in AMC history.
