Cheer Repeats as NCA National Champions

University of Missouri cheerleading won its second-straight National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) National Championship on Friday night in Dayton, Florida.

The Tigers scored a 95.2245 in the finals of the Intermediate Large Coed Division IA Championship, topping East Carolina (93.4143), Georgia Southern (92.9653) and Kansas State (92.6991) for the crown.

It marks the second-straight title for Cynthia Metz’s team as the Tigers won the 2023 championship with a score of 96.4028.

NCA is the world’s original cheer company and was founded in 1948, celebrating its 76th year in 2024. Over 300 teams are competing at this year’s event in Florida.
