Burks Selected to NAIA All-America Honorable Mention Team

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that Columbia College junior guard Tony Burks has been named to the 2022 Men’s Basketball All-America Honorable Mention team.

Burks, a native of St. Louis, Mo., led the Cougars in points per game (16.2), points (533), defensive rebounds (173), field goals made (186), 3-point field goals made (54), free throws made (107), assists (105), and steals (52).

Earlier this season, Burks was named First-Team All-American Midwest Conference (AMC) and was conference Player of the Week twice.

Burks is now a two-time NAIA All-American after being named to the second team in 2021.
