Bowling Travels to Indiana For Final Regular-Season Tournament

Indianapolis, Ind. – The Columbia College women’s bowling team competes in their final regular-season tournament of the season, as they travel to Indianapolis, Ind. to compete in the 53rd Annual Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic.

The field consists of 65 teams from all around the country.

Action for the Cougars begins at approximately 4:00 PM on Saturday and 12:30 PM on Sunday.

The tournament consists of six traditional team games on Friday and 15 baker games on Sunday. Following the baker games on Sunday, the top-eight teams will be placed into a bracket for the finals. Bracket matches will consist of a best 2 of 3 baker games to advance with the exception of the championship match which consists of a best 3 of 5 baker games.

An All-Tournament team will be awarded to the top six game scratch total from Saturday’s action and will be presented before the start of practice on Sunday.

Spectator Information:

  • Weekend passes will be sold at a cost of $15.00 per person for all attendees ages 10 and up.
  • Day passes will be sold at a cost of $10.00 per person for all attendees ages 10 and up.
  • No ladders, step stools, chairs, or any other physical seating equipment may be brought into the bowling center.
  • Periscopes are permitted.
  • Live streaming camera and tripods are permitted with the exception of streaming lanes 71-78 where BowlTV has the rights to the streamed content.
  • All chairs in the bowling center will be placed along the back concourse, zip tied, for spectator to take a break from standing.
  • No chairs will be allowed to be moved and placed onto the concourse
  • Women’s team athletes, parents, and coaches will not be allowed to enter the bowling center until 3:00 PM on Saturday, Feb. 19.
  • All bowling equipment must be stored in the settee area or in the spaces designated for athlete equipment storage. No equipment is allowed on the concourse.
  • Women’s Teams = Paddock area behind lane 40.
