Bowling Collects Multiple Academic Awards

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Bowling Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday. 

The 2024 list sports 155 student-athletes from across 49 schools, who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

For the Columbia College bowling team…Breanne West and Jordyn Czerw were named as Daktronics Scholar-Athletes. 

The National College Bowling Coaches Association (NBCA) also released their list of Academic All-Americans. These are team members with a cumulative 3.5 GPA recognized by the USBC and NCBCA. 

Kalie Harris, Kenna Schmidt, Allyson Johnson, Emma Shaner, Jordyn Czerw, and Breanne West were all named as NBCA Academic All-Americans.
