Bochenski Named SEC Swimmer of the Week

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Swim and Dive’s Grant Bochenski was named the Southeastern Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Bochenski, a native of Naperville, Ill., placed third in the 100 back with a time of 46.35 at the SMU Classic. The mark ranks the junior eighth nationally and fourth in the SEC this season for the event.

The honor adds to the decorated career for Bochenski who represented the Tigers at the NCAA Championships in the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free last season.

The junior currently claims three top 10 program times in individual events including the seventh-best mark in the 100 back at 46.19. The personal-best time was posted at the 2023 Mizzou Qualifier.
