Baseball Wins Fourth-Straight

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The (RV) Columbia College baseball team earned their fourth-straight win to take the series sweep over Viterbo (Wis.) this afternoon. The Cougars took game one 6-1, while taking game two 9-3.

Columbia improves to 12-8 on the season.

Game One Stat Tracker:

• Six Cougars produced one hit
• Tyler Renn and David Dell drove out two home runs, each bringing in two apiece
• Kam Dohogne earned the win, striking out six in 7.0 innings pitched
• Devyn Lopez added a double

• Columbia produced a four-run first inning after two two-run home runs knocked out by Cayden Nicoletto and Bailey Quint
• Tyler Renn went 3-for-4, driving in two runs
• Cayden Nicoletto went 2-for-3 with two RBI
• Columbia added 11 hits in the contest to Viterbo’s six
• Pierce Hartmann recorded the win, striking out eight in 4.1 innings pitched

Columbia returns to action March 5 to take on Mission University (Mo.) at 1:00 p.m.
