Baseball Splits Day, Drops Series to Missouri Baptist

St. Louis, Mo. – The Cougar baseball team was back in action today to wrap up their conference series against the tenth-ranked Spartans of Missouri Baptist University. After dropping game one yesterday, the Cougars took game two but would ultimately drop game three. 

The Cougars are now 33-12 overall and 16-2 in conference play and will end their regular season at home next weekend against William Woods University. 

The Cougars dominated the Spartans in game two and would roll to a 19-1 win. However, the Spartans would respond well and take game three, 15-7.
