Baseball Hosts SIUE for Saturday Fall Scrimmage

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball hosts SIU Edwardsville for its first fall scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 1 p.m. at Taylor Stadium. Admission is free and open to the public.

Fans can get their first look at the 2022 Tigers, which features 24 newcomers while 29 veterans return to lead the squad. Mizzou is 17-5 all-time against SIUE with the last meeting coming in 2019, a 10-3 Tigers win.

NCAA rules allow teams to play two games against outside competition during the fall. The Tigers will play their second NCAA scrimmage next Saturday, Oct. 30, against Arkansas State.

This week also features the continuation of Mizzou’s Black & Gold series on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 3 p.m.
