Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College Baseball team dropped a midweek non-conference game to (9) Central Methodist on Tuesday night.

The Scoring:
- T4 (CMU): The Eagles scored five times thanks to three extra base hits (CC 0, CMU 5)
- B4 (CC): Kellen Williamson singled bringing home Tom McKenna and Devyn Lopez hit a sac fly to left field scoring Indy Stanley (CC 2, CMU 5)
- T5 (CMU): Central Methodist added three runs in their half of the fifth (CC 1, CMU 8)
- B6 (CC): Riley Poulton singled to left bringing home Jarrett Newell (CC 3, CMU 8)
- T7 (CMU): The Eagles scored on an infield single. (CC 2, CMU 9)
- B7 (CC): Columbia scored three times in the inning (CC 6, CMU 9)
- T9 (CMU): Another sac fly led to a run for the Eagles (CC 6, CMU 10)
- B9 (CC): Newell doubled to left center scoring Stanley. (CC 7, CMU 10)
Inside the Box:
- Riley Poulton, Kellen Williamson, and Indy Stanley had two hits each.
- Stanley hit his 18th double, bringing him six away from tying the school record.
- Poulton reached base four times with two hits and two walks.
- Tom McKenna and Stanley scored two runs apiece, while Jarrett Newell picked up a couple RBIs.
- The Cougars worked seven walks in the game.
