Jack Dahlgren

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Swim and Dive graduate Jack Dahlgren has been selected for the 2023-24 U.S. National Team, as announced by the sport’s governing body on Monday.

A four-time All-American, Dahlgren placed fifth in the 200 back and seventh 100 back at the 2023 NCAA Championships.

Additionally, the decorated Tiger took second in the 200 free, third in the 200 back and finished seventh in the 100 back at the 2023 SEC Championships this past year.

Dahlgren served as a captain and was the flag bearer for Team USA at the 2023 World University Games in Chengdu, China.

In June, Dahlgren competed at US Nationals where he swam 1:56.24 in the 200 fly finals to finish sixth. In the event prelims, he posted a personal best-time of 1:55.72.

The U.S. National Team is comprised of the six (6) athletes with the fastest times in each Individual Olympic Event, from the combined results of a USA Swimming sanctioned competition, an AQUA approved competition, or an international competition between January 1, 2023 through September 9, 2023 to which USA Swimming sent a team.
