Five Things to Know for Volleyball Matches

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Volleyball team opened practice this week ahead of the 2023 season. The Tigers will hold two exhibitions in the Black & Gold Scrimmage and a meeting with Iowa State before opening the campaign.

Heading into the season, here are five things to know for Mizzou Volleyball Matches at Hearnes Center.

1. Tickets

East and West Ticket Booths at Hearnes Center will open 90 minutes prior to the start of the match. Doors will open 60 minutes ahead of the event.

Tickets can be purchased in advance (Adults: $8, Children 3-17 years of age: $6, Seniors 65 and up: $6) at mutigers.com/feature/VBTix.

The Player Guest/Media Entrance is located on the East side of Hearnes Center. The Player Guest/Media Entrance is located to the North of the East Ticket Booth. The Player Guest/Media Entrance will be open 60 minutes prior to the start of the match.

Admission for the Black & Gold Scrimmage (Aug. 12) and the Iowa State Exhibition (Aug. 19) is FREE.

Tickets can also be purchased on match days for $8 (adult, children, seniors). All sections are General Admission EXCEPT Courtside Seating.

Group tickets (groups of 10+) are available for $4.

Season tickets are also on sale for $30 and can be purchased at mutigers.com/feature/VBTix.

2. Parking

Free Public Parking for volleyball matches is available in Lots I, J, K, M, N & O. Fans are encouraged to park and enter on the East side of Hearnes Center.

3. Marketing/Promotions

Throughout the 2023 season, Mizzou volleyball will host an array of marketing promotions.

In-match promotions this season will include Truman the Tiger appearances, the Cheerleading team and Golden Girls, the Mini Mizzou pep band, and on-court activities.

Head coach Dawn Sullivan will host a pre-match Chalk Talk ahead of every regular-season contest. The location is to be determined.

Ahead of the 2023 Black & Gold Scrimmage on Saturday (Aug. 12), Mizzou will host a free clinic at 11 a.m. The Black & Gold Scrimmage will commence at 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Saturday’s promotions include free pizza, while supplies last, and post-match autographs.

4. Concessions & Tiger Team Store

Concession stands will be available on the upper East side of Hearnes Center. The Tiger Team Store will be available on the West side of Hearnes Center.

Both the concession stands, and the Tiger Team Store will open one hour before the start of the match along with gates.

5. Pre-Match Clinics

Mizzou Volleyball will host pre-match clinics before two matches this season.

The Tigers will hold their first clinic before the Black & Gold Scrimmage on Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. Check-in will be held on the East Side of Hearnes. Signup for the free clinic is currently available online.

Mizzou will also have a second clinic on Nov. 12 ahead of the Tigers’ SEC match with Auburn at 1 p.m.
