Cougars Earn Easton/NFCA Academic All-America Awards

Softball NFCA Award updated

Columbia, Mo. – Adding to their list of accomplishments for the 2021-22 season, the Columbia College softball team earned multiple awards from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). These rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association’s membership categories. To be considered for this prestige, individuals and teams must produce a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. 

Under the guidance of Head Coach Wendy Spratt, the Cougars earned a top-10 ranking at #3 in the team GPA category, finishing the academic year with a team cumulative GPA of 3.615. Further, 16 different Cougars earned individual recognition as well. 

Avgustina Arbova, Karolina Arbova, Lexi Dickerson, Emily Dove, Mackenzie Kasarda, Skyler Kauble, Kaylie Kaufman, Emily King, Jodi Polly, Abigail Pringer, Madison Ramsey, Alyssa Roll, Ella Schouten, Suzanna Shanks, Jaymee Stupak, and Athena Wheeler all earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete status.
