2023 Volleyball Schedule Preview

Columbia, Mo. – The 2023 Cougar volleyball schedule has been released, consisting of 33 matches, with nine American Midwest Conference matchups. Columbia will host 11 home contests, including the annual Columbia College Hampton Inn Classic.
 
Schedule Highlights

• Columbia landed a No.16 national ranking in the final NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches Top 25 Poll from November 2022.
• The Cougars will open their 2023 campaign at the Olivet Nazarene University Tournament on August 18, taking on Governors State (Ill.) in their season opener.
• Columbia will face top teams this season including No.6 Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.), No.18 Indiana Wesleyan, (RV) John Brown (Ark.), (RV) Hastings (Neb.), (RV) St. Thomas (Fla.), No.9 Viterbo (Wisc.), No.12 Missouri Baptist, No.19 Central Methodist (Mo.), (RV) Oklahoma Wesleyan, No.22 Ottawa (Kan.), and No.11 Taylor University (Ind.). *Rankings based off the most recent Nov. 9, 2022 poll.
• The home slate consists of two top-25 opponents: No.6 Dakota Wesleyan and No.18 Indiana Wesleyan.
