2023-24 Men’s Basketball All-Conference Awards Announced

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2023-24 AMC Men’s Basketball All-Conference teams, season award winners, academic all-conference team, and the AMC Men’s Basketball Champions of Character Team.

The Cougars claimed six season award winners, while also placing 10 on the All-Academic team.

Dogukan Kara was named to the Champions of Character Team. Each AMC school selects a member of their team to receive the NAIA Champions of Character Award. It is the student-athlete who they feel best exemplifies the NAIA ‘s five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.

Player of the Year / First Team All-Conference:

  • Collin Parker (Junior l Montgomery City, Mo.) – named All-Conference for the third time in his career. Averages 18.3 ppg leading the AMC, 6.4 rpg, while shooting 50 percent from the field. Totaled 511 points in the regular season, while also recording a career-high of 29 points against William Woods (Mo.).

Second Team:

  • Marlon Allen (Senior l Orlando, Fla.) – leads the AMC with 7.7 rpg and 215 rebounds on the season. Averages 9.3 ppg while shooting 42 percent from the field.
  • Isaiah Holden (Junior l Evanston, Ill.) – ranks second in the AMC with 4.3 apg and 119 assists on the season. Produced a assist/turnover ratio of 3.1, leading the AMC. Shoots 43 percent from the field, averaging 7.6 ppg.

Third Team:

  • Harrison Vickers (Junior l St. Louis, Mo.) – named All-Conference for the second time in his career. Averages 11.4 ppg, shooting 50 percent from the field, accumulating 320 points. Averages 3.3 rpg.

All-Defensive Team:

  • Trendon Tisdale (Junior l Tulsa, Okla.)

AMC Academic All-AMC:

  • Beau Washer
  • Nate Brandt
  • Jaiden Carrasquillo
  • Isaiah Holden
  • Luka Ivkovic
  • Dogukan Kara
  • Carson Parker

  • Adam Sausele

* To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must be in their second semester at their AMC institution, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and finish the year on the team.
