13 Missouri Wrestlers Named To Academic All-Big 12 Wrestling Team

Noah Surtin Has a 4.0 GPA

COLUMIBA, Mo. – Thirteen athletes from the University of Missouri wrestling program were named to the 2022 Academic All-Big 12 Wrestling Team, the conference announced Thursday. Nine Mizzou wrestlers were named First Team and four to the Second Team.

Redshirt freshman Noah Surtin held the highest grade point average for the Tigers as one of just nine wrestlers across the conference with a 4.0 GPA.

Undergraduates also named to the First Team were Trey Crawford, Keegan O’Toole, Cordel Duhart, Peyton Mocco and Jarrett Jacques. Graduate students Allan Hart, Rodrigo Diaz and Jacob Raschka were also included. 

Rocky and Zach Elam, Dack Punke and Jack Flynn were all named Second-Team.

To qualify, the athlete needed to keep a 3.00 GPA or higher and participated in at least 20% of Missouri’s scheduled contests. First-Team members held a 3.20 GPA or higher and a 3.00-3.19 for Second-Team honors.
