Tigers Make the Cut for SEC Match Play

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The University of Missouri men’s golf team wrapped up the stroke play portion of the SEC Championship in 5th place, making the cut of the top eight teams to advance on to the match play portion starting tomorrow. The Tigers carded a final round score of a 1-over 281.

Jack Parker continues to pace the Tigers on the leaderboard as he posted a 1-over 71 today to finish tied for 15th place at 1-under-par. This marks his fifth 54-hole event under-par this season. He went on a streak of 36 consecutive holes bogey-free.

One stroke behind is Tommy Boone who also carded a 1-over 71 today to finish even-par at T-18. Each sharing a piece of 34th place is YuTu Tsai and Jack Lundin. Tsai shot 11 consecutive pars to open his final round to end with an even-par 70 on the day. Lundin finished with a 2-over 72 to also be at 3-over overall.

Rounding out the Tigers is Charlie Crockett who once again fired a 1-under 69 to make it back-to-back rounds under-par.

The Tigers will compete starting tomorrow in match-play with tee times and pairings soon to come on GolfStat.
