COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri track and field team’s Kaia Harris notched a personal-best discus mark of 56.93m (186-9) to claim fifth as the Tigers wrapped up the competition at the Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational on Saturday.
With the throw, Harris now ranks third in program history for the event.
An the invite, Jayson Ashford, Blake Hays, Robert Hines and Zachary Charles claimed second in the 4×100-meter relay with a time of 40.40. The performance is the eighth fastest in program history.
Sydney Overdiek claimed her second personal best of the weekend in the hammer throw at 62.99m (206-8). She remains in the fifth overall spot on Missouri’s event leaderboard.

- Ames Burton posted a mark of 47.33m (155-3) in the discus
- Roberto Vilches cleared 2.17m (7-1.5) to claim seventh in the high jump
BOBCAT INVITATIONAL
- Freshman Sam Innes threw 55m (180-5) in the discus
- Mya Drayton ran 57.62 in the 400-meter dash
- Petra Gombas matched her personal best in the hammer throw at 53.45 (175-4)
- Carolina Daza posted a mark of 53.45m (175-4) in the event
