Three Cougars Earn AMC Weekly Awards

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has released their selections for Player of the Week honors. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from April 10 through April 17 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

AMC Men’s Golfer of the Week
Sean Minor, Columbia (Mo.)

• Placed first at the MVC Spring Invite.
• Carded a 70-66-68—204 (-12).
• Helped the Cougars to a first-place finish.

AMC Women’s Golfer of the Week
Emily Strunck, Columbia (Mo.)
GS | Scharbeutz, Germany

• Finished fifth at the MVC Spring Invite.
• Shot an 84-79-78—241.
• Fifth AMC Women’s Golfer of the Week award this season.

AMC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Grant Erisman, Columbia
Fr. | Centralia, Mo.

• Finished third in the long jump (6.84-meters) at the UCM Mule Relays.
• Added a seventh-place finish in the triple jump (13.13-meters).
