The Big Show’s Big Bowl Bid

Let’s be frank… The Big Show needs some national notoriety.

In a craven effort to increase listening weekdays from 4-6pm CT, Matt Michaels and Ben Wilson have decided the best way to do this is by purchasing the naming rights to a college bowl game. Can you say The KTGR Big Show New Mexico Bowl?!?! It might be hard, but sure you can!

There is one minor setback… our show has no promotional budget whatsoever. But that’s where YOU come in!

We’re accepting donations below to help get The Big Show’s name on a college bowl game… our goal is $500,000. Elk Grove Village, Illinois bought the naming rights to the Bahamas Bowl for $300,000 last season, and we like warm weather, so we need some extra for a bidding war.

Here’s the BIG catch: because we’re all or nothing, if we don’t meet the goal of a half-million bucks, every penny we raise will be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbia! If we defy the odds and raise at least $500,000, we will work to secure the naming rights to a college bowl game, and ensure the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbia still gets a sizable donation. We would never cheat the kids.
