Columbia, Mo. – The University of Missouri swimming and diving program heads to St. Charles, Mo. for an in-state matchup with Lindenwood on Friday, Nov. 3. It is the first-ever meeting between the two show-me state programs. Southern Illinois’ swim and dive program is also making the trip.
The Tiger’s third road trip of the season begins Friday morning at 9 a.m. with the diving events. Then, at 11:30 a.m., the swimming events commence inside the St. Peter’s Rec-Plex. All live results can be found via the Meet Mobile app.
Mizzou makes an in-state trip for the first time since it faced off against Missouri State in Springfield on Dec. 4, 2021, a duel that resulted in a win for both Tiger squads.
AT LINDENWOOD
- Mizzou visits Lindenwood for the first time ever in a dual setting.
- 41 of the team’s 48 swimmers are making the trip to St. Charles
- All four divers plan to compete Friday, which includes sophomore Collier Dyer and senior Kayla Wilson, each tabbing SEC Diver of the Week honors this year.
- All seven of MU’s podium finishers from last week’s meeting with Auburn and Indiana are traveling to Friday’s meet.
LAST TIME OUT: VS INDIANA/AUBURN
- Dyer, along with Logan Ottke and Jan Zubik, each notched second-place results in their respective competitions during the Tigers’ home opener.
- Ottke claimed silver in the 100 breast with a time of 54.56. Zubik touched the wall in 1:46.88 in the 200 fly while Dyer totaled 346 points in the 1 meter.
- Kamryn Wong placed third in the 1 meter with a score of 287.25
- Wilson nabbed bronze in the 3-meter as the senior posted a score of 312.00
- The Tigers men’s 400 free relay team of Daniel Wilson, Grant Bochenski, Darden Tate and Calvin Windle finished third with a time of 2:59.17
- Bochenski placed third in the 100 free with a time of 43.87
