Assisting on the first goal, senior Jenna Bartels scored in the 12th minute; the sophomore earned the second helper and scored the next two for Mizzou. One goal came off a penalty kick in the 22nd minute, and the other in the 49th minute off a beautiful pass from senior Grace Pettet.
The game tabs the second brace for Simmons this season and the first five-point match of her career. The West Chester, Ohio native leads the conference in points (16) and points per game (2.00) while tying for first in goals (7) and goals per game (.88). The five points against the Gators are also tied for second in conference single-game point totals this season.
