Shetley Earns NAIA All-American Honors

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) have announced the 2023 Women’s Basketball All-American Teams. Sophomore forward, Mallory Shetley has been named to the Honorable Mention list for the third time in her career.

All of the selections are made by the All-America Committee and are comprised of first, second and third teams as well as honorable mention. There are 12 members on each of the first three All-America teams.

Shetley led the Cougars in scoring, rebounds, blocks, and field goal percentage. She averaged 12.4 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per contest, while adding 1.1 blocks per game. Starting in all 31 contests, Shetley also produced a field goal percentage of 48.2. She totaled 383 points on the season, while grabbing 183 total rebounds.

This season, Shetley brought home American Midwest Conference (AMC) First-Team accolades, named to the All-Defensive Team, and was an Academic All-Conference recipient.
