Ottawa, Kan. – The (RV) Columbia College men’s lacrosse team hit the road for a conference matchup against (RV) Ottawa University this afternoon. The Cougars produced a 2-0 advantage over the Braves to begin the contest, but Ottawa would ramp up their offense to outscore Columbia 14-9.
Columbia’s Bryce Peltier made 21 saves on the night, however the Cougar offense recorded just 25 shots to the Braves’ 55. Ottawa also secured 40 ground balls in comparison to 18 from the Cougars. The Braves went on to produce 17 face-off wins, nine more than Columbia.
