Joliet, Ill. – The Columbia College men’s and women’s track & field competed on day one of the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invitation, hosted by the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill.
Hannah Ricketts hit the NAIA “B-Standard” in the hammer throw with a distance of 50.39-meters. Mikayla Sehlmeyer hit the NAIA “B-Standard” in the 10,000-meter run. Both athletes have qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
Quinton Brown highlighted the men as he finished third in the high jump, clearing 2.00-meters.
