COLUMBIA, Mo. — Nine members of the Mizzou Gymnastics squad earned Scholastic All-America recognition, the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced on Wednesday.

Chelsey Christensen was recognized for the fourth time in her career while Alisa Sheremeta earned the honor for the third time. Kambrie Brandt, Lauren Clevenger, Adalayna Hufendiek, Anna McGee and Sienna Schreiber all picked up their second Scholastic All-America honors. Rounding out the nine Tigers to garner accolades were Kyra Burns and Hollyn Patrick.

Mizzou has now landed nine Tigers on the Scholastic All-America list for three consecutive seasons. In order to earn WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, student-athletes must hold an overall GPA of 3.5 or earn a 3.5 for the academic year. The nine Tigers were part of a record-setting 1,059 gymnasts who earned all-academic honors across the country this season. Collectively, Mizzou posted a 3.4563 GPA in the classroom in 2020-21.
