After winning its first seven games of the season at Mizzou Arena, the Tigers hit the road for the first time this campaign, playing at Wichita State. Tipoff is set for Tuesday night at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Missouri is a perfect 7-0 to open the 2022-23 campaign, coming off consecutive 30-point wins.
• Graduate student D’Moi Hodge leads five Tigers in double figures with 16.6 points, while also registering a team-best 3.4 steals per game.
• Senior Kobe Brown is second with 14.0 points to go with a Mizzou-leading 5.7 rebounds.
• Graduate student Nick Honor leads the Tigers with 3.7 assists per game.
• MU ranks fourth nationally with 93.3 points per game, while allowing 70.1 on the defensive end.

ABOUT THE SHOCKERS
• Wichita State is 4-2 through six games of the 2022-23 campaign, defeating Tarleton State, 83-71, in its most recent game.
• Craig Porter Jr. leads the Shockers with 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
• Jaykown Walton also scores in double figures with 13.2 points.
• While Mizzou owns one of the nation’s top offenses, Wichita State ranks 30th in the country with a scoring defense of 59.2.
• Offensively, the Shockers average 65.5 points.

SERIES HISTORY
• The Tigers and Shockers have met on five prior occasions with Mizzou claiming 4-of-5 victories.
• Wichita State earned its lone win in the series last season with a 61-55 victory at Mizzou Arena.
• The Tigers won the only game of the series in Wichita with a 72-62 victory two years ago.

TIGERS VERSUS AAC
• Missouri is 5-2 all-time against the American Athletic Conference since its formation in 2013.
• Other than the Shockers, Mizzou has also faced UCF (2-0), Temple (1-1) and Tulane (1-0).

UNDEFEATED AT 7-0
• The Tigers are enjoying their best start in nearly a decade.
• At 7-0, Mizzou has run off its most wins to start a season since beginning the 2013-14 season with a 10-0 record.
• Missouri is one of just 20 teams in the nation (of 363 schools) that remains unbeaten on the year.

DOMINATING WINS
• Not only are the Tigers unbeaten on the year but they are coming off their two most dominant victories of the season.
• Mizzou has won its last two games by a combined 74 points – defeating Coastal Carolina by 38 and Houston Christian by 36.
• It marks the first time since the 2011-12 season that MU has posted back-to-back 35-point wins.

PLAYING FROM AHEAD
• Mizzou has mainly had comfortable games from start to finish during the 2022-23 campaign.
• During four of its first seven contests, the Tigers have not trailed at any point.
• In fact, Mizzou has led for 258:32 of a possible 280 minutes, while trailing for only 13:23 – never falling behind in the second half and tied for just 82 seconds overall during the second stanza.

FIRST ROAD TEST
• Tuesday’s game brings a new challenge as it is the first game outside of Columbia for the Tigers.
• The bad news is that Missouri has won just one of its last eight true road openers. The good news, however, is that one victory was at Wichita State two years ago, 72-62.
• Overall, Mizzou is 8-14 in its first road game of the season since the 2000-01 campaign.

NO. 4 SCORING OFFENSE
• Overall, the Tigers own one of the nation’s top offensive attacks this season.
• Mizzou enters Tuesday’s game with the No. 4 scoring offense in the country, averaging 93.3 points per game.
• The Tigers are also scoring their points thanks to an efficient attack that is making their shots.
• MU leads the SEC in both field goal percentage (52.6) and effective field goal percentage (60.2), ranking fourth and fifth nationally, respectively.

NATIONAL LEADER IN ASSISTS
• The Tigers’ unselfish play has also allowed MU to get off to its strong start offensively.
• Mizzou currently ranks first of 363 schools nationally with 23.3 assists per game.
• The Tigers are coming off a game when they recorded a season-best 29 assists – the most for the team since the 2010-11 season.

OFFENSIVE EFFICIENCY LEADERS
• Mizzou owns one of the nation’s most efficient offenses with five Tigers ranked in the top 100.
• Nick Honor leads the Tigers and ranks 13th nationally – accounting for 1.475 points per offensive possession.
• Tre Gomillion follows at 24th (1.425), D’Moi Hodge ranks 37th (1.392), Kobe Brown is 47th (1.375) and Noah Carter is 62nd (1.339)
• Overall, Mizzou is 16th in the country with 1.132 points per offensive possession.
