Mizzou Soccer Travels to No. 6 Arkansas

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Soccer (5-8, 1-5 SEC) is set to face off with No. 6 Arkansas (11-2, 6-0 SEC) on Friday night at 7 p.m. CT on SECN+. The Tigers’ last win over a Top-10 opponent was in 2015 on the road at No. 9 Auburn.

The Tigers are coming off a road win in Gainesville for the first time in program history. Jadyn Easley provided the Tigers with a brace, including the golden goal after just 51 seconds of the first overtime period. Blythe Beldner added her second goal of the season in the first half to put the Tigers on top early. Kyla Johnson recorded her first career point with an assist on Easley’s first goal.

Skye Kingsley returned to the Tigers’ starting eleven on Sunday, recording an assist on Beldner’s goal. She leads Mizzou with two game-winning goals on the year.

Arkansas represents the Tigers’ highest ranked opponent since 2018 when Mizzou took on No. 4 USC. Missouri’s last win in Fayetteville came in the program’s inaugural season in 1996.

With an appearance in the match, Momola Adesanmi will move into a tie for seventh in Mizzou history with 84 career appearances. Adesanmi has recorded 62 starts over her career, including every match of the 2021 season. She leads the Tigers with 1179 minutes this season.
