The Missouri men’s basketball team returns to Columbia to face nationally-ranked Arkansas on Wednesday. A Gold Rush contest is set for Mizzou Arena with an 8 p.m. tipoff on SEC Network.

PROMOTIONS
• A gold rush is set for Mizzou’s game against Arkansas with all fans encouraged to wear gold.
• Free baseball hats will be given away to the first 1,000 students, while the baseball team will also be signing autographs prior to the game.
• The NCAA National Championship trophy will be on display on the concourse, as well as the Battle Line Rivalry Trophy.

ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Mizzou is 13-4 during the 2022-23 season and is receiving votes in both national polls.
• The Tigers are 2-3 in SEC play, winning both of their home games with an 0-3 record on the road.
• Senior Kobe Brown leads the Tigers with 15.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
• Overall, four Tigers are scoring in double figures with D’Moi Hodge (14.9), Noah Carter (10.7) and DeAndre Gholston (10.5) following Brown.
• Nick Honor leads Mizzou with 3.5 assists.
• Mizzou ranks ninth in the country with a scoring offense of 84.4, while allowing 75.4 points.

ABOUT THE RAZORBACKS
• Arkansas enters with a 12-5 record and 1-4 mark in SEC action, earning a No. 25 ranking in both the AP and coaches polls.
• The Razorbacks have lost their last three games and are 0-3 in SEC play away from home.
• Ricky Council IV leads Arkansas with 18.3 points.
• Anthony Black is second with 12.4 points to go with a team-best 5.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
• The Razorbacks are averaging 76.2 points, while allowing 66.1 on defense.

SERIES HISTORY
• In a series that dates back to the 1950-51 season, Arkansas holds a 33-26 advantage over Mizzou.
• The Razorbacks are also 14-8 since Missouri joined the SEC prior to the 2012-13 campaign, while MU is 16-12 against Arkansas in Columbia.
• The schools are meeting for the second time this season as the No. 13 Razorbacks earned a 74-68 win over No. 20 Missouri in Fayetteville on Jan. 4.
• The Arkansas victory extended its winning streak in the series to five games.

TOP-10 SCORING OFFENSE
• One of the biggest keys to success this season for Mizzou is owning a top scoring attack.
• Mizzou enters the game ranked ninth nationally with an offense of 84.4 points.

TARGETING 70 POINTS
• While the Tigers are averaging well over 80 points this season, the magic number is just 70 for MU.
• MU has won its last 16 games when scoring at least 70, including a perfect 12-0 mark this year.
• On the opposite end, Mizzou is just 1-4 this year when held under the target – losing 22 of its last 23 games overall with 69 or fewer points.
• Overall, Mizzou is averaging 90.2 points in its 13 wins this year but just 65.8 in its four losses.

TRIPLES EQUALS SUCCESS
• Missouri’s performance beyond the 3-point arc has largely been a key to success.
• The Tigers are shooting more than 12 percent better from beyond the arc in wins with nearly five more makes per game.
• MU is 11-0 with eight triples in a game (2-4 with fewer), 10-0 when making at least 33.3 percent (3-4 when lower) and 8-0 when making more than its foe (2-1 with the same, 3-3 with fewer).
• Overall, Mizzou is second in the SEC in triples per game (9.2) and third in 3-point percentage (35.1).

NO PLACE LIKE HOME
• With shooting being vital to success, MU is happy to be returning to Mizzou Arena this week.
• Missouri is shooting nearly 10 percent better at home this season compared to true road games and more than 14 percent from beyond the arc.

1,000-POINT CLUB
• Five active Tigers have reached the 1,000-point mark during their career, while another two are quickly approaching the number.
• DeAndre Gholston is just nine points from the milestone, while Tre Gomillion is 42 points shy.

MULTIPLE 1,000-POINT SCORERS
• Missouri is one of the nation’s most experienced teams, evident by its multiple 1,000-point scorers.
• Mizzou is currently one of just four schools in the nation to feature five 1,000-point scorers (Penn State, San Diego and UAB are the others).
• No school features more than five players as the Tigers have two within 45 points of the number.
