Mizzou Football Now Hosts Vanderbilt 11/28

COVID concerns have caused a conference game swap for Missouri Football this week.

The Southeastern Conference announced Monday evening that the Tigers’ game against Arkansas is now postponed due to positive tests and contact tracing within the Razorbacks’ program. In their place, Vanderbilt will travel to Columbia to play Mizzou at 11am Saturday. The matchup is one that was originally scheduled to be played in September.

To make the switch, the league office gave Tennessee an unscheduled bye week, and planned for the Volunteers to play Vanderbilt on December 12th. SEC officials say that change was made in the interest of playing the most games possible by the end of the regular season.

Mizzou Athletics says fans attending Saturday’s game should use their season tickets for “Game 2,” and the “Game 5” tickets associated with the Arkansas game would be honored whenever that game is rescheduled.
