Mizzou Downed by No. 12 Louisville

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Freshman Jordan Iliff was impressive in her collegiate debut, notching a team-leading eight kills, but Mizzou (0-4) was unable to match No. 12 Louisville (4-0) in a 25-16, 25-18, 25-16 loss to open the Cardinal Classic.

Iliff, who was ranked as the No. 37 player in the country in the freshman class, returned from injury to hit .250 with her eight kills. She added three service aces to pace the Tigers with 11 points in the match.

Fellow freshman Kayla Burbage added seven kills on .600 hitting for Mizzou.

Louisville was powered by 10 kills from Anna DeBeer and Amaya Tilman.
