Columbia, Mo. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) have announced the 2022 Academic All-America Men’s and Women’s Soccer Team recipients. The 2022 Academic All-America® Teams, selected by the CSC, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom.
Victoria Heus and Guy Baskerville were each recognized as Academic All-Americans.
Victoria Heus, Senior, Cologne, Germany
- Accumulated a 3.97 GPA in Sports Management
- Named Daktronics NAIA Women’s Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Conference in 2022
- Earned NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors in 2020
- Recorded a .351 percent for lowest goals against average in the 2020-21 season
Guy Baskerville, Senior, London, England
- Achieved a 3.84 GPA in Biology
- Named Daktronics NAIA Men’s Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Conference
- Named All-American Midwest Conference (AMC) First-Team for the first time in his career
- Started in all 22 contests for the Cougars
