Gates to Coach NABC Reese’s D1 College All-Star Game

NEW ORLEANS — University of Missouri Whitten Family Men’s Basketball Head Coach Dennis Gates will serve as a head coach for the Reese’s Division 1 College All-Star Game this weekend, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced Tuesday.

Gates is set to coach the West All-Stars on Friday, April 1 at 3:30 p.m. CT at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The game is a part of the Reese’s Men’s Final Four Friday and is open to the public and free to attend. The All-Star Game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.

The West All-Stars will face off against the East, coached by Liberty head coach, Ritchie McKay. The Reese’s Division 1 College All-Star Game features 21 of the top senior players from Division 1 basketball this season. Gates will be the first Southeastern Conference head coach to lead a roster during the All-Star game since 2013.
