Football Celebrates 2021 Spring Graduates

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou football saw 10 of its student-athletes participate in University commencement activities, held May 7-9 and May 14-16, at Mizzou Arena and Hearnes Arena.

Tight end Kibet Chepyator and linebacker Chance May earned their degrees in business administration from the Trulaske College of Business.  Angel Matute – an offensive lineman turned student assistant – earned his degree in general studies from the College of Arts and Sciences. Matute is the first in his family to earn a degree.

Running back Tyler Badie, wide receiver Barret Banister, safety Joshuah Bledsoe and tight end Logan Christopherson all earned their degrees in sport management from the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. In the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Bledsoe was selected by the New England Patriots with the fourth pick in the round and the 188th overall selection. Christopherson is the first in his family to earn a degree.

Running back Dawson Downing was a double major in the College of Health Professions and biological sciences. Kicker Sean Koetting earned his degree in biological sciences and offensive lineman Richard Taylor earned his degree in statistics, both from the College of Arts and Sciences.
