Five-star recruit Luther Burden commits to Mizzou football

Mizzou football landed its biggest recruit of the class of 2022 on Tuesday.

Luther Burden, a five-star wide receiver recruit from East St. Louis, IL committed to play for the Tigers in an announcement at the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club. Burden is the sixth-ranked recruit overall in the class of 2022 and the top-ranked wide receiver.

Burden had decommitted from Oklahoma earlier this summer, and chose Mizzou over Georgia and Alabama. It’s the highest ranked recruit the Tigers have received since wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham committed to the Tigers in 2012.
